It’s springtime in the city. On any given day, be it Spring or Summer, One needs a little pick me upper. That little trick that fixes the bad hair days and does the body good. In my constant urge to inspire, I look no further than Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue. A beautiful printed scarf is the perfect cure for the bad hair days. In our featured image @Averypiepenburg wears Versace silk twill printed scarf in a ponytail with one of my repurposed tuxedo dresses , coming soon to the blog. The beauty of all this is it’s a silk twill, a more structured fabric than your regular silk. It has a hand rolled edge and is finely printed in a beautiful baroque motif with, animal spots and lots of gilt. We tied it to an existing ponytail and voila! The way this was achieved is We hold the scarf on the diagonal, We hide the seams and tips by folding inward. We then tie onto the ponytail securely and fluff. There you have it. You’re Ready to hit the streets.
