The scene on the Thom Browne set was that of a funeral parlor. Two attendants overlooking a corpse dressed in all white. It began to snow when the show commenced. The collection was based and influenced by Victorian mourning clothes. It was similar to Thom Browne's men's collection shown in Paris. Very funerary. Tailoring was paramount with lace, fur trim, Astrakhan, black and grey. The head and face were shrouded in lace and mesh and the headdress was sculpted in black and grey. Shoes were all flats and some were Chelsea boots. The bags were of the Doctors bag variety, but the standout was in the shape of a whale in black, quite fantastic and ingenious indeed.
