TWOmuchSTYLE Presents Top Trends - Spring Summer 2015 - From The Paris Runway

TWOmuchSTYLE PRESENTS: SPRING SUMMER 2015 TOP TRENDS FROM THE PARIS RUNWAY

Spring is here and TWOmuchSTYLE brings you the top trends for Spring Summer. We were there front and center at the collections in Paris and therefore have the authority to decipher the top trends.

TopTrends_Spring2015_FLOWERS

FLOWERS: Celine, Simone Rocha, Thom Browne

FLOWERS
Flowers are always and forever will be a trend for spring. This spring is no different. Celine, Simone Rocha and Thom Browne presented the best in flowers.

TopTrends_Spring2015_SUMMER-LEATHER

SUMMER LEATHER: Proenza Schouler, Givency, Loewe

LEATHER
Bring your inner rock star to the forefront. Proenza Schouler, Givenchy and Loewe made it easy to wear leather for spring. Proenza was all American with full skirts and shirts in leather. Givenchy went “gladiator” with a touch of metal studs. Loewe, a Spanish leather house designed by J.W Anderson, added a bit of detail to a full trouser in the form of an exaggerated bow.

TopTrends_Spring2015_MESH

MESH: Louis Vuitton, Rodarte, Balmian

MESH/ OPEN WEAVE/ CROCHET
Louis Vuitton chose to bring lightness to a woman’s wardrobe using open spaces in fabrics. This is accomplished via mesh fabric, open weave or via the use of the crochet technique by Louis Vuitton, Rodarte and Balmain.

TopTrends_Spring2015_UTLILITARIAN

UTLILITARIAN: Marc Jacobs, Rochas, Rodarte

THE UTILITARIAN TREND
The utilitarian trend derives from a “hold everything” idea via cargo pockets a la militaire. Marc Jacobs led the way with army green looks with oversized pockets and embellished detail, followed by Rochas and Rodarte.

TopTrends_Spring2015_BOHEMIAN

BOHEMIAN: Marni, Valentino, Dries Van Noten

BOHEMIAN
Spring/ summer collections have always been about a mixture of different fabrics to create a mix master sensibility. For spring, Valentino cleared the way for the combination of color texture and fabrication, followed by Marni and Dries Van Noten.

TopTrends_Spring2015_DENIM

DENIM: Chloe, Burberry, Gucci

DENIM
Denim is a staple for spring and summer. It’s the all American fabric that continues its domination over summer as one of the top trends. Burberry sculpted denim to new shape. Chloe made it as simple as a shirtdress and Gucci belted it with a two-tone rendition.

TopTrends_Spring2015_SHORT-BOXY-DRESS

SHORT BOXY DRESS: Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton, Chloe

THE SHORT BOXY DRESS
The sixties influence on fashion continues. The A line boxy dress is a trend done in Eel skin at Louis Vuitton, boxy with graphic flowers at McQueen and cargo pockets on a short A line dress at Marc Jacobs.

TopTrends_Spring2015_LITTLE-WHITE-DRESS

LITTLE WHITE DRESS: Valentino, Louis Vuitton, Chloe

THE LITTLE WHITE DRESS
The little white dress trend was shown in lace, silk and crochet, all short and perfect for summer. Pieces from Valentino, Louis Vuitton and Chloe were all short light as air.

TopTrends_Spring2015_CAFTAN

THE CAFTAN: Valentino, Lanvin, Dior

THE CAFTAN
In summer, a woman needs room to move, hence the Caftan. Valentino, Lanvin and Dior presented the perfect roomy caftan. In past seasons, designers created caftans for the Mideast market. Now spring is all about the roomy comfy caftan.
