FENDI FALL WINTER 2025 Fashion comes from inspirations. Such is the case with the fall winter Fendi collection designed by Karl Lagerfeld. In the show notes it states that The Palazzo Della Civilta, the new headquarters of the House of Fendi was the source of his inspiration for fall. The collection was based on Panels and structure. Leather panels were attached to long skirts worn with fur and shearling booties. Structured coats had buttoned panels. Fur Jackets and long boxy fur, shearling coats had color blocked panels.Paneled geometric printed down puffer is worn with long ,boxy pencil skirt. The scene on the Thom Browne set was that of a funeral parlor. Two attendants overlooking a corpse dressed in all white. It began to snow when the show commenced. The collection was based and influenced by Victorian mourning clothes. It was similar to Thom Browne's men's collection shown in Paris. Very funerary. Tailoring was paramount with lace, fur trim, Astrakhan, black and grey. The head and face were shrouded in lace and mesh and the headdress was sculpted in black and grey. Shoes were all flats and some were Chelsea boots. The bags were of the Doctors bag variety, but the standout was in the shape of a whale in black, quite fantastic and ingenious indeed. Countdown to Paris The fashion parade has begun in New York. It then moves to London, then to Milan and finally PARIS. Above is our pick for the best of fall 2014. New York is a teaser, London and Milan is a palate cleanser and Paris is the main course and desert included. I will review the New York, London and Milan collection via online images.
