TWOmuchSTYLE X TRIBUNE'S MENS FASHION. WINTERS OLD STANDBYS GET A STRATEGIC UPDATE. TWOmuchSTYLE collaborated with the Tribune to bring you men's winter fashion. This story was photographed in New York in the midst of Summer, By uber photographer Kevin Sinclair. Our story was about classic menswear pieces getting an update. Chitose Abe is the designer at Sacai. She is a former designer at Comme Des Garcons which gives the reputation of being a skilled and witty pattern maker. For Spring,designers are creating a wide array of two-for-the-price-of-one pieces. On the runway, the looks were shown with the jackets shrugged off the shoulders and suspended from utility straps, and with the sleeves tied at, or right below, the bust line. But they could also be worn with the sleeves pulled on and the lapels proper and correct. TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY.Welcome to Monday. Today is , of course a very special day for me , as I'm celebrating my birthday. My birthday will find me working , upon which i shall have a glass of Rose' with the most important person in my life and a fantastic meal. I won't be reporting from Paris for the collection this season, Alas. I shall wait till fall when fashion is at its best. Today starts the beginning of the spring collection in Paris. THE RETURN OF THE CLASSIC HANDBAG BALANCED WITH STATEMENT CLOTHES AND COLORFUL DETAILED NAILS. Designer’s returns to where it all starts. The classic handbag, only this time it was engineered with major design detail. In this portfolio we start off with purity via GIVENCHY. Then it was on to ALAIA precise laser cutting. MAISON MARGIELA decided to turn his classic out in leopard printed pony while CELINE creates their version to be as soft as a pillow hence the name the "Pillow" bag. SACAI MENS FALL WINTER 2015 Sacai is a Japanese label designed by Chitose Abe. For fall and all other seasons Abe combines the most unlikely fabrics and textures. Sacai is no longer under the radar it’s now been discovered by all. Nylon was mixed with leather and shearling, wool ponchos were shown with shearling track pants. SACAI Sacai, The Japanese brand designed by Chitose Abe is the label of the moment. For fall, it became clear that the label has arrived in the arena of Fashion stars. It counts fashions most influential figures as fans. Suzy Menkes, Anna Wintour and Karl Lagerfeld are all supporters. The luxury boutiques Blake and Ikram are the only outpost in Chicago to carry Sacai. The designer, Abe, is its creative director and owns 100 percent of the company, therefore having total control.
