TWOmuchSTYLE collaborates with the Chicago Tribune for Spring fashion. Spring is here . It's in all the magazines and it is in the air. This story was photographed in New York in the midst of winter , yet it appears sunny and beautiful in the images. Our story captures the perfect looks for spring on the perfect girl, Uber model Mirte Maas. We chose all the iconic spring looks namely : the white shirt, at least our rendition of it, the Trench, the short skirt, Gucci's wildly popular 70's inspired runway look , luxurious feathers to add a dose of luxe to spring and color for the perfect covergirl.Get inspired and plan your spring wardrobe based on our edits. Marc Jacobs Fall 2015

Marc Jacobs Fall 2015
MARC JACOBS FALL WINTER 2015 Marc Jacobs held the top spot of New York fashion week until it was relinquished to Proenza Schouler. For fall he went a bit 70’s but was influenced by Diana Vreeland. It had all the bells and whistles of that era. It had metallic brocades, and leopard prints, chevron mink, gromMetted leather, nail head studded silk, and embroideries that looked like digitized and pixelated portrait of Diana Vreeland. MARC JACOBS AVAILABLE AT NEIMAN MARCUS “TELL THEM I SENT YOU” ...

Marc Jacobs Fall Winter 2015

MARC JACOBS MENS FALL 2015 Karl Aberg designs the Marc Jacobs men’s collections. The look for Marc Jacobs is a bit grungy, it has that I don’t care about fashion look but is grounded in pure fashion. The team at Marc Jacobs took luxurious fabrics, treated it like polyester to achieve that luxurious feel without the ostentatious look. Cashmere sweat pants and hoodies are worn with tailored jackets and coats. Slouchy trousers were balanced with cardigans , ponchos and leather bombers. For fall Marc Jacobs mantra is “ Feel like a million bucks without looking like you’ve spent a million”. ...

MARC JACOBS In my shopping excursion to the selling floor of the major boutiques and department stores, there is a major absence of Marc Jacobs’s designs to the masses. For spring of 2015 Jacobs will be back on the selling floor. He has a minor presence at Neiman Marcus but come spring Marc Jacobs will be quite visible in all major publications and department stores. Marc Jacobs left the House of Louis Vuitton to focus on his own label. For spring summer 2015 Marc Jacobs seems to have gotten his MOJO back. His collections based on military inspired looks that culminated with these looks embellished to the max. Silhouettes are boxy as only Marc Jacobs can. Colors are “a la militaire”....

Louis Vuitton’s dark glossy world

MARC JACOBS, LOUIS VUITTTON, “TO THE SHOWGIRL IN EACH OF US” COUR CARRE DE LOUVRE, PARIS. It became perfectly clear as one enters the show space of Louis Vuitton that Marc Jacobs will be departing the luxury goods house of Louis Vuitton. The venue was all black and everything was deja vu. As the first exit emerges emblazoned with Stephen sprouse’s famous writings on a cat suit it all became a moment of perfect clarity. The entire collection was a Belle Epoch moment everything was jet beaded, jet fringed feathered, tulled and all the models was adorned with Stephen Jones feathered headdress. It was all a showgirls dream, a dark glossy world where darkness shines. It was an homage...

Louis Vuitton’s Bedroom Romp in Paris

The Louis Vuitton collection was staged on a circular catwalk in the Cour Carre du Louvre in what appears to be a hotel with multiple doors. The program notes states that the entire collection has a touch of “Une Robe du Chamber,” an attitude of getting dressed up only to find the most glamorous destinations is ones own hotel room. As each door opens and the model steps out in her bedroom inspired look one could capture a male figure hastily getting dressed among LV trunks adding to the erotic escapades. Fabrics and structures derived from menswear have been rendered more feminine through their fabrication. From Marabou linings, to feather embroidered in a degrade effect. Marc Jacob presented...

Slumber Party With Marc

Sleepwear for daytime Marc Jacobs is having a slumber party and we are all invited. During NYFW, Marc Jacobs presented embellished silk pajama set for his eponymous label. For his turn at Louis Vuitton, he went for a sexier version of the sleepwear which included lace trimmed nighty and slip dresses. This is definitely a more grown-up sleep over....
