FALL FASHION STARTS HERE. HANDBAG AND NAILS.

THE RETURN OF THE CLASSIC HANDBAG BALANCED WITH STATEMENT CLOTHES AND COLORFUL DETAILED NAILS.

Designer’s returns to where it all starts. The classic handbag, only this time it was engineered with major design detail. In this portfolio we start off with purity via GIVENCHY. Then it was on to ALAIA precise laser cutting. MAISON MARGIELA decided to turn his classic out in leopard printed pony while CELINE creates their version to be as soft as a pillow hence the name the “Pillow” bag. Finally we end with the glammed up “Rocklock” bag with the classic double chain handle.
All this was balanced with clothes that is rich in texture and detail and nails that compliments with clashing colors making fall a very rich season indeed.
In my collaboration with thenailscape.com, we bring you the top trends in nails direct from the runway.Read it HERE or go the thenailscape.com

Fall nail trends:

Tone on Tone metallic (copper)
Fall’s muted palette makes it easy to succumb to the temptation to match your nails to the rusts, plums, and reds. Resist the urge and break out the metallics! Here we paired CND Vinylux in “Leather Satchel” with a copper foil down the center third of the nail, creating a fine jewelry vibe with every metallic flash.

Natural Elements (green with accent nail)
Adding elements from nature has been a giant hit on the runway so far this year. We’ve seen fur nails, feathers, and even scorpions embedded in liquid and powder. Adding shimmering abalone chips to an accent nail is an easier commitment to make, that imbues a luxe finish for Fall. We’ve paired CND Vinylux in “Art Basil” with abalone chips from Athena Rocks.

Brights (blue with leopard)
Why stop when Summer does? A bold statement can be made by keeping jewel-toned brights on your nails this Fall. CND Creative Play laquer in “Royalista” with leopard print accents is an unexpected pairing that will turn heads this Autumn.

Smoke Nail Art (black nails with white smoke)
Smoke nail art looks incredibly chic with every Fall fashion we paired it with, and can be customized to every ensemble in a myriad of colorways. Our smoke nail art tutorial (link to: http://www.thenailscape.com/tutorial-smoke-nail-art/) shows you how. Here we show CND Shellac in Black Pool with Wildflowers Academy art paints.

“Shimmergasm” (blue glitter)
Shimmering, glittery nails are our forecast for the next big Fall nail trend. Using a pigment or a micro-glitter in the same tone as your polish can evoke the paint job on a classic car – shiny, shimmery, splendid! We used CND Shellac in “Digi-Teal” with a CND Additive micro-glitter to create this glittery, tonal masterpiece.
