DIOR HAUTE COUTURE SPRING SUMMER 2015
Five years ago, a Couturier wouldn’t dream of using polyester or plastic in a collections. Times have changed. David Bowie, the chameleon, inspired Dior Spring Summer haute couture. Therefore fabrication has changed and Couture has become more modern. Plastic and polyester, the ultra modern kind, of course, is de regieur. The first look on the catwalk was an embroidered guipure lace shift with a PVC coat and vinyl thigh high boots. Times have changed. Today it is all about technologically advanced fabrics. Raf Simons went 60’s with short shifts and thigh high boots balanced with a dash of modernity.
